Escalando is a climbing school based in Zurich, Switzerland, offering professional indoor and outdoor climbing courses, multipitch training, Clean Climbing courses and tours, climbing holidays and personalized coaching for beginners and advanced climbers.
We combine safety, technical expertise and a strong sense of community to help you grow as a confident and independent climber.
Our team consists of certified instructors from the Swiss Mountain Guide Association (SBV) with extensive experience teaching and guiding climbers in some of the most beautiful outdoor crags in Switzerland and across Europe.
We teach in English, German, Spanish, Italian and French, making Escalando an inclusive space for both locals and expats living in Zurich.

Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming and inspiring learning environment where climbers of all levels—beginners, intermediate climbers and advanced athletes—can develop technique, confidence and independence.
Climbing is more than a sport for us: it is a way to cultivate awareness, presence and a meaningful connection with nature, movement and community.
Through clear instruction, mindful practice and continuous learning, we help you grow step by step at your own pace.
Our Team
Our climbing instructors are certified by the Swiss Mountain Guide Association (SBV), bring many years of experience and regularly participate in advanced training to stay up to date with the latest climbing and safety techniques.

I am a passionate climber and a good team player. The beautiful, long granite walls are my great passion. Clean climbing is my way of finding inner peace and mental strength for challenging MSL tours. I am a route setter and course leader in a climbing gym in Zurich. For me, climbing is a passion that I live both professionally and privately. I enjoy learning new things and expanding my horizons. The great thing about climbing is that you can always find new challenges for yourself.

Climbing has been my passion for many years. I discovered climbing in Finale Ligure (Italy): such a euphoric feeling! Since then, Climbing has been by my side through many of the most important decisions in my life. For me, climbing is not just a sport, it’s a way to find yourself, to push limits and go further... and to discover how strong we are. Long, technical and athletic routes are my climbing style. I am a supportive team player, always climbing and teaching with heart and mind, seeking harmony and safety with my climbing partners.
